This is the first 'banana' shaped spoon I carved. It has such a beautiful feeling and weight to it, and although not pink like the other, it has a rich chocolate brown colour throughout ! It's the heart wood of the plum, with some of the softer, light wood showing through to make the beautiful colour changes.
It's a large eating spoon, with a straight edge to the bowl wich is brilliant for scraping and scooping :)
I added some little detailing on the handle end too. This is a personal favorite ;)
