Green Woodworking
I started carving four years ago, when I watched my father (who is one of my greatest inspirations) whittle some clothes pegs for a washing line on his camper van.
I was captivated by the satisfying process of removing wood to form something practical and beautiful. So after watching and reading techniques from all the great wood carvers such as Barn The Spoon and Deborah Schneebeli Morrell, I picked up my dad's axe and carved my first spoon.
Over the years I have strived to combine my carving with my illustration work, and finally feel I have found my way with Kolrosing. I have also had the honour of spending every Thursday with the woodworking legend Peter Kovacs since May 2024, who has inspired and taught me so many valuable things which I am eternally grateful for.
So I am now so pleased to have found the level of confidence in my carving to start selling them online and hopefully spread the love for traditional craft and hand made items with beautiful stories.

Illustration and painting
I have always wanted to be an artist, since I was a child my incredibly talented mother (an artist herself) taught me to love creating. I learnt from her skill along with her love for the outdoors and my fathers knowledge of the landscape and wildlife.
I studied art at A-level, theming my project on botanical artwork and the worlds decreasing appreciation for it.
This message has continued throughout my work, and I am so pleased to have learnt what I know about nature through illustrating and painting it in close up detail, as well as from my other half Joel, my father and many other wonderful people through the years!
I am happy to have honed my style of illustration and to be at a point where I can share it with the world in the form of cards, prints, posters and much more...
